The NEW 2026 Liv Tempt E is HERE!
The much-anticipated 2026 Liv Tempt E range has landed and it’s bringing a sleeker look, smarter tech, and real performance upgrades.
A follow-up to the hugely popular 2023 Tempt E series, this new lineup refines everything riders loved, while introducing features that take trail-ready E-bikes to the next level.
What’s New?
There are 2 new models in the 2026 lineup: The Liv Tempt E+ and Tempt EX. Both models share a completely reimagined frame design and power system!
A Sleeker, Lighter Ride
The first thing you’ll notice is the slim, more refined silhouette. That’s thanks to Giant’s new EnergyPak 430Wh compact battery, which reduces overall weight while still delivering impressive range and power. Paired with the new SyncDrive Sport 2 motor offering 75Nm of torque (a 50% increase from the 2023 model), the ride feels more responsive, capable, and efficient.
Smarter Controls
Taking the user experience up a notch is the RideControl Dash 2, a sleek, colour display with redesigned button layout, mounted cleanly on the handlebars. It’s intuitive, easy to navigate, and gives you real-time insights into battery life, speed, mode, and more.
Built-In Security & Peace of Mind
A standout feature this year is one we’ve never seen on any Liv or Giant models before: remote locking and tracking via the RideControl app. Lock your bike directly from your phone and use the “Find My” function if it’s ever misplaced or stolen. Simple, smart, and really useful.
Both the E+ and EX models come equipped with quality components to enhance your ride:
Giant alloy rims with Maxxis Rekon tyres (27.5" or 29", depending on frame size).
Shimano CUES 9-speed shifting.
Shimano MT-200 hydraulic brakes for reliable stopping power.
Liv Trail Ergo saddle and Giant platform pedals for all-day comfort.
So which one is for you?
Both models share the same frame and core technology, but they’re built with different riders in mind. If you’re after something light, responsive, and made for trail riding, the Liv Tempt E+ is the perfect match.
On the other hand, the Liv Tempt EX brings added practicality. With full front and rear fenders, a seamlessly integrated rear rack, built-in lights wired directly to the main battery, and a sturdy kickstand, it’s the more versatile choice. While slightly heavier, these additions make it a great option for daily commutes, backpacking, or anyone wanting a ready-to-roll setup that covers all the essentials.
