We asked Scott a few questions about the build, here’s what he had to say:
1. Why did you build the bike?
I built the 2025 Giant Revolt Advanced Pro 0 because I wanted a versatile bike that could handle a variety of terrains while still having the performance and comfort I loved in my previous rides, the Giant TCX Advanced Pro 0 and the Giant Revolt X Advanced Pro 0. The new Revolt combines the best features of both, making it perfect for everything from gravel adventures to daily commuting. Plus it’s huge Maxxis Aspen’s and the 1x 44t with 10/36 drivetrain make this look like a beast.
2. Where are you planning to ride it?
I plan to ride it primarily on local trails, where I can take advantage of its capabilities. Additionally, I love using it as my commuting weapon, it’s a monster, capable and efficient for a daily ride through the city traffic.
3. How do you like it so far?
So far, I absolutely bloody love it! The handling is responsive, and the ride is fantastic. It feels stable on rough terrain while still being nimble enough for the city streets. The integration of features like the internal cable routing gives it a clean look, the custom hand polished stem and little Ti bolt inclusions are a nice bonus too!
4. Any changes you want to make?
I’m considering a couple of custom tweaks to enhance the look, more than riding experience. First, I’d like to add a custom 3D printed under-stem spacer to improve the internal cable routing, making it even cleaner and more efficient. Additionally, I’m thinking about upgrading to Ti bottle cages for weight, durability and to be in sync with all of the other Ti and hand polished bits!
