Giant Rack-It Metro Lite 

The Rack-It Metro Lite is designed specifically for select Giant e-bikes and utilises Giant’s proprietary Smart Mount System. This allows the rack to integrate cleanly with compatible frames while providing a stable and reliable carrying platform. 

This rack is compatible with several Giant e-bike models including: 

Quick-E+ (2016+) 

Road-E+ (2016+) (excluding Road-E+ Pro) 

Dirt-E+ (2016+) (excluding Dirt-E+ Pro) 

When installing this rack, a Rack-It Metro E Fender Bracket is required to ensure correct mounting and support. 

 Because e-bikes are heavier than standard bicycles, racks designed specifically for e-bikes provide the additional strength and stability needed for everyday carrying. 

Giant Rack-It Metro Rear MIK Rack 

The Rack-It Metro Rear rack is designed for riders who want a simple and dependable storage solution for commuting and everyday riding.

  • Maximum load capacity of 25kg 

 The rack is compatible with several Giant bike models including:

Understanding the MIK Rack System 

The Rack-It Metro Rear rack features the MIK (Mounting Is Key) rack system, a convenient mounting solution that allows riders to attach and remove bags quickly and securely. 

Instead of using straps or clips, the MIK system uses a click-in mounting plate and key lock system. 

To attach a bag: 

  1. Slide the compatible MIK bag onto the rack.
  2. When you hear a “click”, the bag is securely installed.
  3. Remove the MIK key and store it safely while riding. 

To remove the bag: 

  1. Insert the MIK key.
  2. Press the release mechanism.
  3. Lift the bag off the rack. 

 

This system allows riders to easily switch between different bags depending on their ride, making it ideal for commuting, errands, or longer rides where additional storage is needed.
